Kabali : Amid an unprecedented hype and sky-high expectations, Super Star Rajinikanth's Kabali released on July 22 to an overwhelming response from fans. Even though the film received mixed reviews from critics, it opened to phenomenal collections all-over the globe.

No 1st position at the box office.
.
Undoubtedly, Rajini is the USP of Kabali. The film banks majorly on Rajinikanth's unmatchable charisma. Thalaiva's intense acting and his aura as Kabali, the ageing mafia don, are top notch. Radhika Apte steals the show as Rajni's wife. Director Pa Ranjith comes up with a decent storyline and tries to give the film an edge with some interesting scenes during the initial part of the film.

The major drawback of Kabali is the lack of typical Rajni fan moments. Those who expected a Basha kind of powerful drama will be utterly disappointed. The film's slow pace bores the audiences. Lack of entertainment acts as a major hindrance to the film's proceedings.
