It could very well be the most crucial phase in Nani’s career in recent times. As many as three films are slated for release in February and all three of them are quite different from each other. The first of the three films is Krishna Vamsi’s Paisa, which is expected to release on February 7, and it’ll be followed by Jenda Pai Kapiraju and Aaha Kalyanam in quick succession.
Speaking at the audio launch of Aaha Kalyanam, which was held recently in Hyderabad, Nani, in a lighter vein, said, “The entire film’s shooting was like a picnic and it’s the most fun I’ve have had in recent times. However, I must confess that I took a huge risk by accepting this film and I think I’ll be in huge trouble after the film releases. To put it bluntly, I submitted myself to the director and did whatever the ‘script’ demanded.” The entire gathering erupted in laughter when he said these lines. While he didn’t reveal what exactly he was referring to, it was quite clear that he was talking about a kissing scene in the film. In fact, this scene was one of the most talked about aspects in Band Baaja Baarat, which is the original version of Aaha Kalyanam. Vaani Kapoor is Nani’s co-star.
A Gokul Krishna has directed the film and Aditya Chopra has produced it under Yash Raj Films banner. Dharan Kumar has scored the music.
