Analysis : The album kick starts with the hard hitting title song Dhruva. This song is more like an anthem which speaks about standing against the bad in the society. The catch phrase Dhruva Dhurva and meaningful lyrics by Chandrabose have been used well and lift this rock number quite well. Hip Hop Thamiza uses the chorus to complete effect and makes this tune hit you hard. This song will be an even bigger hit after you watch Ram Charan’s chiseled body and moves on screen.
Analysis : The second song is Choosya Choosya, a romantic number with a complete techno feel. Padma Latha sings this number in an energetic tone. Even though the number starts on a simple note, it becomes quite hummable when it reaches halfway. Hip Hop Thamiza tries everything with this song and even adds English rap to make it effective. You need to listen to it multiple times before you start liking it.
Analysis : Moving on, the album continues with an interesting number called Pareshanruaa. This fun number hits you right away with its unique composition. Full marks to Hip Hop Thamiza for the way he as interlaced the techno beats with the traditional classical singing. The lyrics are fun and set the mood of the song upbeat. Once again, this number will be an instant hit once you watch it on screen.
Analysis : The fourth song is Neethone which is probably the best song on the album. The album starts with a signature sound which gets you hooked right away. Superb singing by Hip Hop Thamiza and the upbeat composition sets the mood high and leaves a superb chance for Charan to showcase his dance moves. An instant hit this number is.
On the whole, Dhruva is not the regular song and dance masala album which you expect from Telugu films. Keeping the film’s serious theme in mind, Hip Hop Thamiza manages to make a decent debut and composes some interesting tunes. Neethone dance tonight and Pareshanura are our picks and will do well. Overall, the album will click even more after you watch the rich visuals on screen.
