Veteran producer KC Shekar Babu passed away due to heart attack at his residence in Journalist Colony, Hyderabad, in the wee hours of Friday. KC Shekar Babu had produced Chiranjeevi’s iconic blockbuster, Mutha Mastri.
KC Shekar Babu was born in Kolavennu village, Krishna district. His father was a film distributor and Shekar Babu stepped into film production with Mamatha. He went to produce hit movies such as Sardaar, Subbaraju Gari Kutumbam, Samsarabandham and Gopalarao Gari Ammayi etc.
KC Shekar Babu had also played a key role in the Producer’s Council and AP Film Chamber of Commerce. Several industry colleagues paid their last respects to KC Shekar Babu’s mortal remains. 123telugu.com expresses its deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
