Often, makers of several medium and high budget movies schedule their film’s release either during a festive season or summer holidays, to cash in on the holiday advantage. As a result, the box-office witnesses an intense clash between at least 3, 4 movies at once.
The competition is pretty huge even on August 11, which is an Independence Day long weekend. Rana’s Nene Raju Nene Mantri, Naga Chaitanya’s Yuddham Sharanam, Boyapati’s Jaya Janaki Nayaka and Nithiin’s LIE are slated for August 11 release.
However, speaking to a leading English news daily, Sai Korrapati, the producer of Chay’s Yuddham Sharanam, said that he is doubtful if four films can be accommodated on August 11. Sai Korrapati further said that he will wait for a while and then announce the date.
