Rana Daggubati’s upcoming film Nene Raju Nene Mantri is setting a new trend in terms of movie promotions. While releasing the first look and motion posters are part and parcel of film’s promotions, Rana has now added another feather in his cap by becoming World’s first 3D augmented reality movie star.
Using the inventive AR technology the makers of the film have also created 3D Augmented Reality Motion Posters for their lead characters Jogendra & Radha. The app which is making this possible is ‘Appstar’, which is available for bother Android as well as iOS users. The AR experience can also be experienced through AR Poster standees placed in over 700 theatres.
John Paoletto, Head of Design Avantari, the creators of this AR for Nenu Raju Nene Mantri said “It’s a complete new experience for the movie audience and we are hopeful it will be equally exciting for everyone around the world.” Suresh Babu is thrilled with the new technology which is making this possible. “This application is a nice way to introduce Augmented Reality to the masses; AR has lot of benefits in education, entertainment, gaming and marketing,” he said.
Directed by Teja, Nene Raju Nene Mantri will hit the screens on August 11. Kajal and Catherine Tresa have played the lead roles alongside Rana, whereas Anup Rubens has scored the music.
