Arvind Swamy is not only an actor and an entrepreneur but also someone who is quite vocal about civic issues. The actor has been voicing his concern over a wide range of issues and right now, he is urging people to be careful about excessive usage of plastic, which is leading to severe pollution.
Pointing out at the overwhelming response from people for Sterlite Copper Smelter in Tuticorin, Arvind Swamy said that people should not neglect pollution due to plastic.
“Just as we all show our displeasure towards sources of industrial pollution, we must be conscious of&act against the large scale pollution caused by domestic plastic use. The land and the sea is choking. This is a common sight in urban&rural TN, which we have come to accept?why?” Arvind Swamy questioned.
The actor will soon be seen in Mani Ratnam’s Nawab and he is said to be planning his directorial debut which could happen later this year.
