Yatra, the much-awaited biopic on former Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhara Reddy, is all set for a grand worldwide release on February 8. The film’s theatrical trailer was released last week and it received a unanimous positive response from all quarters.
Meanwhile, the latest update is that Yatra wrapped up its censor formalities yesterday night with a clean U certificate without any cuts. Malayalam stalwart Mammootty has essayed YSR’s role in Yatra. The film will be a tribute to YSR’s iconic Padayatra that made him the Messiah of the masses and eventually the chief minister in 2004.
Mahi V Raghav has directed Yatra and Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy have produced it. The film also features an ensemble cast.
