When RRR, Rajamouli’s ambitious multi-starrer featuring NTR and Ram Charan, went on floors in December, there were reports that popular Tamil actor-director Samuthirakani will be essaying Charan’s uncle’s role in the film.
Finally, in a latest interview, Samuthirakani has confirmed that he is part of RRR. “After watching my film Nadodigal, Rajamouli sir had sent me a long message. We have been in touch since then. Recently, he invited me to his house to introduce me to his family. He wanted me to play a key role in his upcoming film starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan. I agreed instantly,” Samuthirakani said.
The Visarani and Shambho Siva Shambho actor further added that Rajamouli had asked him to first listen to RRR’s script and then take a call on being part of the movie. Meanwhile, RRR’s second schedule is underway in Hyderabad for the last three days.
