Tamil stalwart Super Star Rajinikanth’s craze among his USA fans needs no introduction. Rajini has an envious record of 4 movies which collected more than $2 million in the US, a feat unparalleled by any south Indian star so far.
Now, Rajini’s Pongal entertainer, Petta, has breached the $2.5 million milestone in the US. On Saturday, until 12:30 AM EST, Petta’s Tamil and Telugu versions together collected $23,478, taking the cumulative total to $2,509,308. However, the film is almost nearing its full-run in the theaters across America.
