Even though Saaho released last Friday to heavily mixed reviews, the box-office collections over the extended weekend were fabulous and reiterated Prabhas’ immense star power. However, the real test began on Tuesday and the film is not showing any positive trends.
In Nizam, on Wednesday, Saaho collected a theatrical share of just Rs 61 lakhs. The film’s 6-day Nizam share is Rs 25.37 crores. Although these numbers are pretty good, they will hardly bring any cheer to the film’s Nizam distributor considering the Rs 40 crore plus investment prior to its release.
Saaho will not be facing a tough competition at the box-office this Friday. Whether the film will manage to pick up momentum over the weekend remains to be seen.
