It is well-known that Tamil star Suriya’s new film, Soorarai Pottru is going to skip its theatrical release and opt for a direct OTT release. Popular streaming platform Amazon Prime has bagged the film’s rights by offering a hefty amount.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that out of Soorarai Pottru profits Suriya has donated ₹1.5 crores for the Corna cause to Tamil film fraternity. This kind gesture by Suriya is setting as an inspiration for many actors.
Directed by Sudha Kongara, Soorarai Pottru will have a simultaneous available on Amazon in Telugu as Aakaasam Nee Haddhura.
