The shooting for star actor-filmmaker duo Kamal Haasan and Shankar’s Bhaaratheeyudu 2 was stalled after the tragic accident that claimed 3 lives on sets in February. The makers at Lyca Productions, the banner that’s bankrolling this highly-anticipated patriotic drama, have still not decided about resuming the shoot after the lockdown.
And if the latest reports coming in from Chennai are to be believed, Shankar, vexed with the stalemate situation, has written to Lyca, asking them to reveal its production planning for Indian 2’s balance shoot. Apparently, Shankar has told Lyca that he will commence a new film if there’s no clarity on Indian 2’s next schedule. Stay tuned for further developments in this regard.
