As films based on real-life stories are getting a good reception from the audience, filmmakers are also showing interest to make biopics based on famous personalities from the past few years.
Already films like 83 and Thalaivi based on Indian cricketer Kapil Dev and former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa respectively are in the making.
Now, the latest buzz is that a film based on the life story of Indian corporate giant Ratan Tata is at the discussion stage. Buzz is also that the makers are keen on roping in actor Madhavan to portray the lead role in the movie.
