Music wizard AR Rahman took to Twitter and shared a video of scores singers from Copenhagen, Denmark singing the Balleilakka song from Rajinikanth and Shankar’s 2007 blockbuster, Shivaji. The song was sung in an opera-style by the choir on the Copenhagen streets, with hundreds of people watching and cheering for them.
In his tweet, Rahman mentioned a hashtag of legendary playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, who sang the song in the movie. The video and Rahman’s tweet are going viral on social media. Even Rahman’s son AR Ameen took to the comments section and expressed his happiness on his dad’s song crossing the boundaries.
