Rajamouli is busy promoting the film and has spoken to director Sandeep Vanga and has given so much info on the film in the interview.
When asked about the backdrop, Rajamouli clarified that the entire film happens in and around Delhi. The film has characters from Telugu lands and has no backdrop of Telugu states.
That is the reason we see characters with turbans and the film happens in the 1920’s as shown in the trailers. RRR is an emotional feast that will bind you, says Rajamouli.
