Kollywood star hero Suriya impressed everyone with his powerful cameo in the recently released film, Vikram, starring Kamal Haasan in the title role. Today, the actor has made the headlines again.
Today, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced that it has invited 397 artists and executives to join the organisation. Suriya is the first-ever South Indian and Tamil actor to get an invite to join the prestigious organisation. Besides, yesteryear actress Kajol also got a chance to be a member.
On the work front, Suriya is currently busy shooting for his next, tentatively titled Suriya 41, under the direction of versatile director Bala. On the other hand, he is one of the producers of Soorarai Pottru’s Hindi remake.
