Saakini Daakini, starring Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas, is locked to release this Friday. The Sudheer Varma directorial is an official remake of the South Korean hit film Midnight Runners.

Last night, the film’s pre-release event happened in a grand manner and actor Adivi Sesh is one of the chief guests to the event. He extended his best wishes to the whole team of Saakini Daakini and also apologised to producer Sunitha. He revealed the reason, she is the one who played Sobitha Dhulipala’s mother role in his last film Major. Unfortunately, the scenes were trimmed off due to runtime issues. He also said that he wanted to meet her in person to say sorry for the issue and also gift Sunitha a Prada handbag bought for her.

Saakini Daakini has Prithvi, Ravi Varma, Bhanu Chandar, Kabir Duhan Singh and others in pivotal roles. Produced by Suresh Productions, Guru Films and Kross Pictures, the movie has Mikey McCleary’s music. Keep watching this space for more interesting updates.
