While the Tollywood Film Industry (TFI) is in grief over the loss of the legendary actor Kaikala Satyanarayana garu, another great actor has passed away.
Senior actor Chalapathi Rao garu breathed his last on Saturday night at his residence in Hyderabad. The actor was demised due to cardiac arrest. He was 79.
Known for villain roles, Chalapathi Rao was born at Balliparru in Krishna district in 1944. He also entertained audiences as a comedian in many movies. Acted in 600 and more films, Chalapathi Rao garnered a good reputation in the industry.
Vetagadu, Yamagola, Aditya 369, Sampoorna Ramayanam, Ninne Pelladatha, Aadi, and Chennakesava Reddy are a few notable films of the actor. His son Ravi Babu is also an actor, producer and director.
Many Tollywood personalities mourned the sudden demise of the actor. They expressed their deepest condolences to his family. The mortal remains of the actor are kept at his son’s residence. They will be moved to Mahaprasthanam at 3 PM today.
