Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s latest film, Selfiee is telling a sorry story at the box office with its disastrous performance.
The production costs of Selfiee are said to be Rs 140 crores while the film collected a mere Rs 12 crores theatrical share till now.
The film grossed little over Rs 25 crores globally and this brings the worth share to Rs 12 crores. So, in Rs 140 crores investment, the film reportedly made Rs 12 crores, making it one of the biggest loss ventures ever in Indian cinema.
Selfiee is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster Driving License. This film has Akshay Kumar and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles.
