Yodha, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani in the lead roles, received mixed reviews from the audience and ended up as a box-office failure. The action thriller was directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha.
The latest buzz suggests that Yodha will arrive in the digital space on April 19th. Generally, Hindi films make their OTT debut 8 weeks after their theatrical release as mandated by the Multiplex Association Of India. Prime Video holds the post-theatrical streaming rights of Yodha, and there is a possibility that the film might be available on a rental basis from the said date.
In a recent interview, Raashii Khanna said that people didn’t watch Yodha in theatres because they knew it would be released on an OTT platform. She stated that Yodha isn’t a bad film and that every movie has its destiny. Yodha was produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions.
