Parasakthi is a Tamil political action drama that was released in theaters as a Sankranthi special. Though a simultaneous Telugu release was announced, it did not happen due to the already packed Telugu Sankranthi releases. It was later expected to release in the third week of January, but that too did not materialise.
Now, the Telugu version of Parasakthi has made its direct debut on OTT. The film failed to make a mark at the box office and ended up as a flop at the ticket windows. With the Telugu version releasing on Z5 (earlier ZEE5) today, the reception remains to be seen.
Whether Telugu audiences will find it better or respond the same way Tamil audiences did during its theatrical run is yet to be known.
The film is directed by Sudha Kongara and stars Sivakarthikeyan, Sreeleela, Ravi Mohan, Atharva, and others in important roles. Aakash Baskaran produced the film under the Dawn Pictures banner, and G.V. Prakash Kumar composed the music.
