With a $2.2 billion gross, Ne Zha 2 has emerged as the highest-grossing non-English film and the highest-grossing animated movie outside Hollywood. It was first released in China in Mandarin and later expanded to other markets, including India, with an English version.
Months after its theatrical release, the film is back in the news as Indian audiences can finally watch it on OTT. Jio Hotstar will stream the movie from February 20, 2026, in Mandarin, English, and Hindi. However, a Telugu version is not available at the moment.
Ne Zha 2 is a direct sequel to Ne Zha (2019), which was also a major box office hit. Both films are directed by Jiaozi.

Viewers are advised to watch the prequel Ne Zha first to better understand the sequel’s story. Currently, the prequel is not available on any Indian OTT platform. It remains to be seen whether Jio Hotstar will add it later.
