In a shocking update, actor and politician Vijay’s wife, Sangeetha, has filed for divorce at the Chengalpattu Family Court. This development has come as a shock to fans and audiences due to the reasons cited in the petition.

Sangeetha has accused the actor and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) President of infidelity in the divorce petition. She has alleged that Vijay was involved in an extramarital relationship with an actress.

The couple, who married in August 1999, have two children, Jason Sanjay and Divya Shasha. The Chengalpattu District Court has issued a notice directing Vijay to appear in person on April 20.
