This March 19, Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Ranveer Singh’s much-anticipated Dhurandhar 2 are set to arrive in theatres. This unexpected box office face-off has grabbed attention, and if you think this is the first time the two stars are locking horns, then you are wrong.
Back in 2011, Pawan Kalyan’s Panjaa and Ranveer Singh’s Ladies vs Ricky Bahl released on the same day. Years later, Bro and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani also hit screens simultaneously. While these releases coincided, they weren’t direct clashes as the films catered to different audiences.
Interestingly, Ranveer Singh has tasted success during these previous face-offs, while Pawan Kalyan’s films didn’t quite meet expectations. Now, the Tollywood box office is gearing up for a proper clash between the two biggies. It remains to be seen which film will have the upper hand.
