The makers of Peddi have reportedly initiated legal action against individuals accused of spreading targeted negativity about the film on social media platforms.

FIRs have been registered in both Guntur and Hyderabad ainst two persons for allegedly running negative campaigns against Peddi through multiple Instagram and Twitter accounts.

Sources say the film’s team has been closely monitoring online activity for the past few weeks and decided to take strict action after repeated incidents of organized trolling.

The team has also approached the Supreme Court regarding the matter, and reports suggest the court has already passed orders empowering authorities to take action under the law. Peddi releases on June 4, 2026.
