While trade estimates suggested an opening of Rs. 12 crores for Samantha’s Maa Inti Bangaaram, the movie actually earned over Rs. 13 crores gross worldwide, exceeding expectations.

Maa Inti Bangaaram also proved an important point: female-oriented films enjoy strong box-office appeal when the content is promising. After Rashmika’s The Girlfriend, Samantha’s family action drama has now drawn audiences to theatres, and it is so good to see people show up for female-driven movies.

Directed by Nandini Reddy, Maa Inti Bangaaram was produced by Samantha herself under the banner of Tralala Moving Pictures. Raj Nidimoru is the creator of the film, while Gulshan Devaiah played the antagonist. Santosh Narayanan composed the music.
