Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s most awaited film Love & War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, is attracting strong interest from major distributors ahead of its theatrical release.
According to the latest reports, Dharma Productions, Zee Studios and Pen Marudhar are in the race for the film’s theatrical distribution rights. The current offers are reportedly in the Rs. 175–180 crore range, while the makers are said to be seeking around Rs. 215 crore.
The film has already reportedly recovered more than Rs. 200 crore through non-theatrical deals. Netflix is said to have acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights for around Rs. 130 crore, while the music and satellite rights have reportedly fetched another Rs. 70–80 crore.
With the theatrical deal yet to be finalised, all eyes are now on whether the makers can secure their asking price. Love & War is scheduled to release on January 21, 2027, in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
