Kollywood actor Vishal is making his directorial debut with Magudam. Ravi Arasu was initially roped in as the director, but later Vishal took over the responsibility. The movie will be released as Makutam in Telugu.

The film has been censored U/A 16+, and the approved runtime is 185 minutes (3 hours and 5 minutes). The duration is very lengthy, and it will create showcasing issues as Magudam is clashing directly with Suriya’s Vishwanath and Sons on August 14.

Magudam also features Dushara Vijayan, Anjali, and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music. Can Vishal score success with his debut directorial? Can it withstand the competition? Only time will tell.
