Suriya’s Vishwanath and Sons is gearing up for a grand release this Friday. The movie, directed by Venky Atluri, features Mamitha Baiju as the female lead. The Telugu pre-release event was conducted in Hyderabad.
Speaking at the event, Suriya said, “After Lucky Baskhar, whatever script he had come up with, I would have said okay. I was quietly manifesting to work with him. That’s when Naga Vamsi garu called me and said he had got Venky’s dates. At that time, he had a script related to a biopic. That’s another story. We didn’t do the biopic.”
Whose story were Venky and Suriya planning to make? This question is now making fans wonder. Venky Atluri avoided the biographical film as it was set against the period backdrop, just like his last two films. The director wanted to avoid monotony, and since Suriya also wanted to feature in a family film, Vishwanath and Sons happened.
