The team of Ravi Teja’s Irumudi has decided against paid premieres in India as it is a thriller. Director Shiva Nirvana opined that if the key twist or thrills are known beforehand, audiences who watch the film from the first day won’t be able to experience the film in its full impact.
Since it has now become a habit for certain moviegoers to record and share clips online, paid premieres can end up spoiling the experience for others. The family thriller will now open in cinemas on the traditional Friday. Mythri Movie Makers bankrolled this flick, while Priya Bhavani Shankar played the female lead.
