Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Irumudi continues its sensational run at the box office, showing no signs of slowing down. The blockbuster is now closing in on the Rs. 200 crore worldwide mark, after the makers claimed it recorded the highest-ever 24-hour ticket sales for an Indian film.
The film delivered another strong show on day 9, with the Nizam region standing out in particular. Several theatres that were allotted to Toxic have reportedly brought Irumudi back, underlining its strong demand.
The film is said to have amassed a share of around Rs. 36 crore in Nizam alone in just 9 days – a remarkable feat for a regional film, achieved without a major holiday advantage or ticket price hikes.
The impressive run has put the makers in celebration mode. Directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, Baby Nakshathra and Sai Kumar in key roles, with music by GV Prakash Kumar.
