King of Entertainment Sree Vishnu will next be seen in the film Comrade Kalyan. Mahima Nambiar plays the female lead. Directed by Janakiram Marella, Comrade Kalyan is set against the backdrop of the Andhra–Odisha border in 1992.
Today, the makers launched the teaser, and it depicts the entertaining moments in a Naxalite’s life. Sree Vishnu plays Thaatikonda Kalyan, a most-wanted Naxalite who doesn’t take his job seriously. He falls for the female lead and constantly tries to woo her. His efforts to win her over evoke laughs. At the same time, the cops keep searching for him.
How Comrade Kalyan escapes the police while pursuing his love interest forms the crux of the film. Sree Vishnu once again impresses with his antics and comic timing, while Mahima Nambiar looks beautiful. Radhika is fine as the protagonist’s mother, while Shine Tom Chacko is seen as the cop trying to catch the hero. The movie also features noted comedians, including Satya.
