Renu Desai, known for films such as Pawan Kalyan’s Badri, is back with Kashi Majili, a short film that has premiered directly on ETV Win. The project is part of the platform’s Katha Sudha series.
Directed by Yamuna Kishore and produced by Jagadeesh Kumar Kalluru under the JK Arts banner, the film explores whether a lost love can find a second chance at happiness. The story unfolds against the ghats of Varanasi, where key portions were shot, lending the romance a spiritual setting.
Shankar Induchoodan plays the lead, while Renu Desai takes on multiple creative responsibilities. Besides acting, she has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film.
Veteran writer Abburi Ravi handled dialogue supervision, with Dr. Josyabhatla composing the music. Kashi Majili is now available to stream on ETV Win.
