Vikram Sahidev, son of producer Lagadapati Sridhar, recently came up with the rustic action drama Anakapalli. Directed by Khagesh Tammineni and written by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, the film took an unusual route as the makers released it only in Anakapalli.

The makers assessed the audience response to the film and have now decided to release it in other regions as well. According to the latest update, Anakapalli will have its worldwide release on October 2, 2026.

It remains to be seen if the wide rollout can help the film. The movie also stars Sandhya Vasishta, Tarak Ponnappa, Indraja, Absar, Srinivas Vadlamani, and Naidu Kandregula in key roles. Produced by Kandregula Naidu and Trinadha Rao Nakkina, Anakapalli features music by Davzand.
