Hanuman Ansh has emerged as an unexpected success story in Bollywood and continues its theatrical run into the eighth week. With the sequel already officially confirmed, the latest buzz around Hanuman Ansh 2 has now grabbed attention, particularly rumours of Akshay Kumar joining the cast.
The speculation spread rapidly on social media, with reports suggesting that Akshay Kumar could be part of the sequel. However, producer Anupriya Nagar has firmly dismissed the reports, making it clear that the actor’s inclusion is not true.
Meanwhile, Hanuman Ansh 2 is officially moving ahead as the middle chapter of a planned trilogy based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba. Director Vishal Chaturvedi is returning for the sequel, with Shobhinaw Satyaa set to reprise the lead role.
The second instalment will explore Baba’s early journey across Akbarpur, Agra and Mathura and is expected to be mounted on a significantly bigger scale. Scripting and location scouting are currently underway, while the makers have also ruled out the ongoing speculation surrounding Akshay Kumar’s casting.
The sequel is expected to expand the world established by the first film, with the third instalment planned to complete the larger trilogy.
