Drishyam: The Conclusion has continued its phenomenal run at the box office, with the film showing an exceptional hold on day 2. After collecting over Rs. 62 crore nett on day 1 alone, the Ajay Devgn starrer has maintained almost the same level of audience demand on Saturday, setting up a massive opening weekend.
The BookMyShow numbers underline just how strong the hold has been. Drishyam: The Conclusion sold around 1.04 million tickets on day 1, while day 2 recorded approximately 935.43K tickets. That means the film has retained nearly 90 percent of its day 1 ticket sales, with the drop standing at only around 10 percent.
A hold of this magnitude after such a huge opening is particularly impressive. Instead of witnessing the usual decline after day 1, the film has continued to attract audiences at almost the same pace, keeping the momentum firmly intact.
The Sunday advance bookings are adding further weight to the trend. The film is reportedly clocking upwards of 16K tickets per hour on BookMyShow, putting it in a strong position for another major day at the box office.
With day 1 already crossing the Rs. 62 crore nett mark and day 2 maintaining nearly 90 percent of the opening-day ticket sales, Drishyam: The Conclusion has high chances to cross the Rs. 150 crore nett mark domestically during its opening weekend, provided the Sunday momentum holds.
