Prabhas’ much-awaited sequel, Kalki 2 (working title), is currently in the shooting phase. As today marks the star hero’s birthday, the makers dropped an on-set video to make an announcement.

The news is that Prabhas has begun shooting for the movie and is back in the role of Bhairava. The makers cleverly showcased him through silhouette visuals to keep audiences interested. Apart from this, nothing has been mentioned about the release date or other details.

The makers will soon announce who will play the role of Sumati. The remaining cast members are expected to return in their respective roles, and Vyjayanthi Movies is planning to release the film in 2028.

India’s biggest superstar Prabhas turned another year older, and his fans are looking forward to updates on his upcoming films. Prabhas celebrated his birthday in a simple way with his close ones. Prashanth Neel’s wife, Likitha Reddy, posted a pic from the celebrations, and it went viral.

The post showed Prabhas affectionately kissing Likitha Reddy on the cheek. It is very rare to see Prabhas being this affectionate on camera, and Likitha shared the pic with a caption wishing him a happy birthday and calling him “annayya.” The pic received thousands of likes and shares, along with several comments.

Meanwhile, fans will be happy to know that a Fauzi update is coming today. It is not a teaser but a glimpse of what the movie is all about. Prabhas fans are waiting for it to drop. Hanu Raghavapudi is directing the film, while Mythri Movie Makers is producing it.
