Itllu Arjuna marks the maiden production venture of Chalo and Bheeshma director Venky Kudumula under his banner, What Next Entertainments. The film also marks the silver screen debut of “New Guy in Town” Aniesh. Mahesh Uppala is making his directorial debut, while Anaswara Rajan plays the female lead.
The film is presented by Nagarjuna under Annapurna Studios. Today, the makers launched the theatrical trailer, and it looks captivating with a neat blend of love, action and emotions. What immediately draws us into this promotional asset is its refreshing treatment. The protagonist is speech-impaired, and several people, including goons and cops, are after him. He falls in love with the female lead, who also gets caught up in trouble along with him. Why they are being chased will be revealed on the big screen.
How the lead pair manages to get out of this mess appears to be the crux of the story. The visuals are extraordinary, and it is clear that the makers have spent a bomb on the movie to make it appealing to audiences. Thaman’s background score is pleasant, while debutant Aniesh displays confidence in his role.
Anaswara Rajan makes her presence felt with her charming screen presence. Good songs have helped the movie gain buzz, and this trailer should now take the hype forward. The film releases on November 13.
