Suriya’s Scene will hit the big screens this Friday. The crime comedy is directed by Aavesham fame Jithu Madhavan, with Naslen playing the antagonist. Bookings haven’t commenced for the film yet in Tamil Nadu, and there is a strong reason behind the delay.

The makers are confident that the Vijay government will issue a new GO allowing 6 AM shows in the state, which is why they have kept bookings on hold. However, Suriya fans are worried that the delay in the commencement of ticket sales might hurt the film’s opening day prospects.

At the moment, there is no clarity on when the GO will be issued. Can Scene still deliver solid opening day numbers despite the hiccups in advance bookings? Let’s wait and see.

What if Ramayana gets a Part 3? Yes, producer Namit Malhotra’s latest comments at the Los Angeles premiere suggest that it all depends on audience feedback.

Speaking to an international media channel, he said that they had initially envisioned a three-part film but later decided to make it in two parts. Now, the team is looking forward to the audience’s response, and if it is good, they may consider extending the epic saga.

Audiences are curious to know how the story will move forward, whether it will be about the sons Lava and Kusa or something beyond that. Earlier, during the Hyderabad pre-release event, the makers confirmed that a few characters from Ramayana will get their own spin-offs.

What Namit and the team have in store will be known in the coming days. Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash play the main roles in this grand visual spectacle, which reportedly has a budget of around Rs. 2,000 crore for a single part. Talented composers Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman are handling the music.
