While the poster, featuring a bald, intense Allu Arjun with a primal, wolf-like hand, has already ignited a firestorm of fan theories, director Atlee added a deeply personal layer to the hype.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he revealed that Raaka is not just another big-budget project, but a vision he has protected for nearly two decades.

“For 18 years, I held on to one idea, never letting it fade. It tested me, shaped me, and stayed with me through everything. And honestly… this is just the beginning,” the director shared.

This revelation has elevated the film from a mere collaboration to a deeply personal vision Atlee has nurtured for 18 years.

Backed by Sun Pictures and featuring a massive ensemble including Deepika Padukone, the film is being mounted on a global scale. With Sai Abhyankkar handling the music and a confirmed 7-language release in mid-2027, the duo is clearly aiming for “beyond the world” magic.
