Actress-turned-producer Niharika Konidela scored commercial success with Committee Kurrollu. Her next production venture, Raakaasaa, is set to hit cinemas this Friday. Directed by Manasa Sharma, the film stars Sangeeth Sobhan and Nayan Sarika in lead roles.
Niharika has been actively promoting the film, and in an interview with Variety India, she revealed the life-changing advice she received from Ram Charan. She said, “I strictly follow his ‘never say never’ rule. When I was new to production, he suggested that I stay open to everything, as you never know where life can lead you.”
Niharika also shared that her next project after Varun Tej’s Bhari will be a low-budget urban drama with a young cast. According to the young producer, it’s not the budget but the stories that truly fascinate her.
Actor turned director Tharun Bhascker has teamed up with debutant Kasyap Sreenivas for the contemporary entertainer Gaayapadda Simham. Faria Abdullah and Maanasa Choudhary play the female leads.
Ahead of its May 1 release, the film’s second single Bride has been released. The song captures a lively pre wedding mood, presenting a bold and stylish bride enjoying every moment of her celebrations. Composer Sweekar Agasthi blends trendy beats with festive energy, while Shreemani’s lyrics add a modern touch with references to selfies, reels and wedding buzz. Faria Abdullah shines with energetic moves, and Manisha Eerabathini’s vocals bring vibrant appeal.
Tharun Bhascker also makes a fun appearance in the song. The film features Vishnu Oi, Harshavardhan and Subhalekha Sudhakar, and is produced by Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina, Bhanu Kiran Pratapa, Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni and Umesh Bansal under Saptaswa Media Works, POV Stories and Zee Studios, with presentation by Pavan Sadineni.
