The South India Digital Publishers Association, or SIDPA, is a non-profit organization dedicated to representing and safeguarding the interests of South Indian digital publishing companies, media entrepreneurs, and independent journalists who deliver high-quality, branded content across digital platforms.
For the first time, prominent digital platforms across South India have come together under one umbrella – united by a greater cause: the protection of press freedom and the advancement of ethical journalism. This unprecedented collaboration marks a defining moment for South India’s digital media landscape, demonstrating the power of unity.

The combined readership of websites under SIDPA’s umbrella surpasses the total online audience of most newspaper websites combined, firmly establishing digital-first platforms as the new mainstream in regional news.
In fact, SIDPA member websites command a larger and more loyal digital footprint than even TV-channel-owned portals, marking a significant shift in consumer trust and engagement toward independent digital journalism.
