Not many know that Ram Pothineni and Anupama Parameswaran’s Hello Guru Premakosame was remade in Hindi as Tera Yaar Hoon Main. The movie marked the silver-screen debut of director Indra Kumar’s son, Aman Indra Kumar.
So far, the film has collected an extremely low Rs. 56 lakhs nett, as per trade reports. Despite the original version being available on YouTube in a Hindi-dubbed version, the makers still opted to remake it, and the result has been disastrous. Tera Yaar Hoon Main failed to post even respectable numbers.
Negative reviews from critics further sealed its fate. Milap Zaveri directed this romantic drama, which stars Akanksha Sharma as the female lead. Paresh Rawal, Johny Lever, Supriya Pilgaonkar, and Mrinal Kulkarni played pivotal roles.
