Jio Hotstar’s new Tamil web series Brothers and Sisters is now streaming on the platform from today. The family drama has opened with decent buzz among audiences and is promoted as an emotional entertainer that revolves around relationships, conflicts, and bonding within a middle class family.

Directed by Chidambaram Manivannan, the series features Bose Venkat, Gayathri, Raj Ayyapa, Tejank, Apoorva Rao, and others in key roles. The story follows three sisters and their brother as they navigate personal struggles, emotional conflicts, and unexpected situations together. Things take a dramatic turn when a hidden truth about the family patriarch comes to light, creating tension and emotional turmoil within the household.

Jio Hotstar will follow a weekly release pattern, with new episodes arriving every Wednesday. Apart from Tamil, the series is also available in Telugu and other languages for a wider audience. The promo released by the makers has already generated curiosity with its blend of emotional moments, family drama, and light hearted entertainment.

Peddi is one of the most anticipated Tollywood films of 2026, slated for a grand theatrical release on June 4, 2026. Starring Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film has already generated massive buzz, with the team actively promoting the pan Indian project through media interactions and events.

Recently, cinematographer Rathnavelu revealed that his favorite portion in the film is the Delhi sequence, which was shot entirely without artificial lighting. He also shared that the team used film negatives for those scenes, marking the first time in nearly 17 years that he worked with the medium. According to Rathnavelu, the decision was taken to bring a more raw and realistic texture to the visuals despite the advancements in digital cinematography.

Interestingly, Ram Charan also recently called the Delhi episode his favorite part of the film, further raising curiosity around the sequence. The rural sports drama also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in key roles. Produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, the film features music composed by AR Rahman.
