Talented actor R. Madhavan headlines the biopic of the ‘Edison of India,’ G.D. Naidu, in GDN. The multilingual film is all set to hit theatres on August 7, 2026. The lack of solid promotions from the team appears to be one of the biggest reasons.

Marking Ram’s directorial debut, the movie is being bankrolled by Krishna Pothineni under the Rapo Cinematics banner on a lavish scale and massive budget.

The team is presently filming in the scenic locations of Pondicherry. This crucial leg of the shoot which will last for 15 days features a visually appealing song choreographed by popular dance master Brinda. Also several high-voltage action episodes designed by well-known stunt choreographer Vikram Mor, whose previously worked on blockbusters like KGF: Chapter 1, Kantara, and Karuppu are being canned.

Ram Pothineni is actively participating in the ongoing schedule, balancing his responsibilities as both the lead actor and director. Conceived by Ram himself, #RAPO23 is touted to be a unique psychological action thriller. Sam CS is composing the tunes.
