The makers of King, starring Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan, planned a schedule in Dubai, but according to a report in Mid-Day, it has been called off due to safety concerns amid the ongoing situation in the Middle East.

The team was supposed to shoot some action sequences in this schedule, and all the necessary permissions had also been obtained well in advance. However, due to safety concerns, the team cancelled the schedule.

Director Siddharth Anand will now shoot those sequences in a studio in Vile Parle. The production design team is reportedly working on creating a desert landscape for the sequence that begins with a chase, resulting in intense combat.

King also stars Suhana Khan, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Abhay Varma, Arshad Warsi, and Raghav Juyal in pivotal roles. Red Chillies Entertainment is backing this flick, which releases in cinemas during Christmas 2026.

At the song launch event of Chennai Love Story, starring Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya, producer SKN made a big revelation by announcing the new release date of Ram Charan’s Peddi.

“Just now I learned through director Sai Razesh that Peddi will be released on June 26. We were planning to arrive on the same date, but now with Peddi coming on that date, we will look for alternative dates,” said the producer.

While some speculations suggest June 25, SKN mentioned June 26 as the new release date. At the moment, Peddi is more or less set to arrive in cinemas in the last week of June, and an official confirmation regarding the postponement is expected soon.
