Amid the buzz around Dhurandhar 2, a Malayalam film, Aadu 3: One Last Ride-Part 1, has made a strong impact at the box office in Kerala. A few days ago, we reported on its limited regional reach, but the film surprised everyone by outshining Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh in ticket sales on BookMyShow on a particular day.
The film is back in the headlines after crossing the Rs. 100 crore gross mark (worldwide) in less than 2 weeks, a rare milestone in Malayalam film industry. This fantasy comedy benefits from its strong franchise value.
Aadu 3 features Jayasurya alongside Saiju Kurup, Vinayakan, Renji Panicker, Vijay Babu, Sunny Wayne, and Dharmajan. Directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, the film is produced by Friday Film House and Kavya Film Company.
Adivi Sesh is gearing up to entertain audiences with the romantic action entertainer Dacoit. Mrunal Thakur plays the female lead. The film marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Shaniel Deo and the Tollywood debut of Anurag Kashyap.
Ahead of its release on April 10, Adivi Sesh interacted with fans on X under the hashtag #AskSesh. During the session, a fan asked when he would move away from the thriller genre. Sesh replied, “Dacoit is that shift.”
Responding to other fans, Sesh shared, “Dacoit is a love story wrapped in an action film. It’s about feelings, not thoughts. Love is the core emotion of Dacoit.” The film is backed by Supriya Yarlagadda and co-produced by Suniel Narang, with Annapurna Studios presenting it.
