Aavesham fame Jithu Madhavan-directed film has already wrapped up its shoot, and the latest news suggests that the makers are planning to release it in theatres during Diwali 2026. By Tuesday, the film had collected a total of $320.5 million, and by Wednesday EOD, The Odyssey will comfortably surpass the lifetime domestic total of the biographical drama. Nolan’s biggest domestic grossers are The Dark Knight ($534.9 million) and The Dark Knight Rises ($448.1 million).
Looking at the trend, The Odyssey is set to emerge as the director’s highest-grossing film at the domestic box office within a few days. Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, and Zendaya played key roles. The film is based on Homer’s Greek epic, The Odyssey.
