Latest Kollywood buzz suggests that Tamil hero Karthi and star heroine Trisha are set to reunite on screen. Trisha is reportedly being considered as the female lead in Karthi’s 31st film, which is set to be directed by Mohan Raja.
However, Nayanthara is said to be the first choice for the project, and the makers are reportedly planning to finalize Trisha if Nayanthara’s dates do not work out.
Karthi and Trisha previously won hearts as Vallavarayan Vandiyadevan and Kundavai in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan. Given the popularity of their pairing, this news has generated considerable interest.
Meanwhile, the film is said to be a family-oriented commercial entertainer and is currently in the early stages. Karthi will be next seen in the spy action thriller Sardar 2.
Sunny Deol is all set to make his debut on Kaun Banega Crorepati as part of the promotions for his upcoming film Batwara 1947.
The actor will be joined by Aamir Khan and Preity Zinta on the popular quiz show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. The special episode is expected to be one of the highlights of the season, bringing together some of Bollywood’s biggest stars on a single stage.
