Interview : Anil Ravipudi – F3 will be a laugh riot for the audience

F3 is all set to release on May 27th and on this occasion, we caught up with director Anil Ravipudi for a detailed interview. Here is the transcript.

What made you do F3?

F2 was a super hit film and was loved by one and all. There was so much scope to carry this franchise forward. But we did not find the lead to the story. So, we took the same characters and put them in F3 and created more fun.

What is the USP of F3?

In F2, fun, and frustration were created with wives and here in F3, the fun and frustration are about money. How greed for money can land many into problems has been showcased in a hilarious manner in the film.

What made you add stammering and night blindness to Varun and Venkatesh’s roles?

The expectations for F3 were huge after the success of F2. So, I thought that the characters needed to have some issues. So, we decided to have stammering for Varun and night blindness for Venkatesh. The comedy scenes featuring these aspects will be hilarious.

When the film F3 was announced there was news about another hero joining the cast?

Yes. we thought about it initially. But I felt that one more star needs to join the cast in the later segments of the franchise. For now, we decided to have more fun between these major characters, and other comedians were added to raise the expectations.

Working with so many artists?

It was really a tough task. Arranging so many caravans for them, handling so many stars, and canning different stars during the pandemic time was not an easy task. But thanks to Dil Raju’s support, we managed it all.

About Dil Raju’s production?

Working with Dil Raju is comfortable. He exactly knows what I need and does it within minutes. I treat Dil Raju Garu as my family member and wish to do more films with him in the future.

Finally about your next with Balakrishna?

I am super excited about this project as it is my first film with Balayya Garu. There will be a comedy but as much as F2. I am trying something new with Balayya as the film will be character-based and showcase him in a mature manner.
